Favorite films/plays I love action-adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, superheroes and dramedy. Babylon 5 is my favorite TV show of all time, and JMS is my favorite writer. I also love Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel (except for the last season of each), the Practice, the Shield, Prison Break (despite its many and gaping plot holes and other huge problems). I like Firefly, even though it's an obvious ripoff of Cowboy Bebop and Trigun, but I'm not sure it belongs on my favorite list because I never did get to see where it would have gone... As for non-fiction TV, I will watch anything with Alton Brown, Bill Nye, Christopher Lowell, Anthony Bourdain, Andrew Zimmern or Robert Irvine in it. And Iron Chef Japan straddles the gap between fiction and non-fiction. On the animated side of TV, there's Gargoyles, Jackie Chan Adventures, Invader Zim, My Life As a Teenage Robot, and Rugrats (although I disavow any knowledge of the second movie). And 6teen is a guilty pleasure. I've been watching anime and reading manga and comics all my life. I love anime and manga of the 80s and 90s best, particularly Macross, Gunnm/Battle Angel (manga only), Fushigi Yuugi, Rurouni Kenshin, Trigun, Sailor Moon, Please Save My Earth, Magic Knight Rayearth, Dragon Ball Z, Evangelion, Ranma 1/2, Maison Ikkoku, Urusei Yatsura, Lone Wolf and Cub, Fist of the North Star, and Captain Harlock, just to name a few. Favorite movies: Shinbone Alley, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Threesome, Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer, Always Sunset on Third Street, and I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting right now. Favorite plays: Secret Garden, Les Miserables, Angels in America, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, West Side Story, Godspell, Cats. Favorite American comics: Sandman, Stray Toasters, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, the comic adaptation of The Silver Metal Lover, Spellbound, Gen 13, and any X-Men with Phoenix in it. The Gargoyles comic is also quite good, and written by the creator of the TV series. Favorite books isn't on here, but I have been a huge fan of the main DragonLance canon (or basically anything by Margaret Weis and most things by Tracey Hickman) and Stephen King, since elementary school. I really did mostly enjoy Harry Potter even if it didn't tie up a lot of the threads I was hoping it would.
Other interests I'm interested in starting a webcomic, so if you're an anime/manga-style artist - especially if you have experience with sequential art - please feel free to message me. (PAID!)
